A Goldendoodle is a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. In order to make the breed “Mini” it needs to be downsized with a Mini or Toy Poodle and a Golden Retriever, this process is called artificial insemination which is expensive and doesn’t always work. What is an F1B? An F1B is first generation backcross, the backcross can be with a Golden Retriever but, is almost always with a Poodle to help make the breed hypoallergenic. Goldendoodles are the most popular mix breed and for good reason. The Goldendoodle is a non shedding, playful, loyal, smart and friendly breed. They are a hardy breed with very few health problems if any. Goldendoodles make great companion pets as well as service dogs. *All of our puppies come with no breeding rights and should be spayed/neutered by 12 months of age.*
